Latitude Wine Bar

Life is a journey.  Mine has taken me many places from growing up in small town USA to getting married, having a daughter, getting divorced and then going to college – in that order.  But then I decided to leave that small town and see what the rest of the world was like.  I’ve remarried and my husband has two sons from a previous marriage.  Our children are all grown and we have a house full of beautiful grandchildren.  My husband is retired from the Army.  He went to college after he retired and now has a job he loves, but then so do I.  I am not starting this wine bar or this new leg of my journey because I am not happy with my current job.  I am starting it because I LOVE the wine lifestyle.  I may not be able to afford my own winery, but this is going to be my little piece of wine heaven.

I want to remember every step of this journey.  I want to share all the missteps and all the successes, all the tears and all the jubilee – hopefully more jubilee than tears!  And when I am ready to retire from my current job, Latitude Wine Bar will be there for me.  If everything goes right, I may even have a couple of those grandkids working there with me.

Please check us out on Facebook as well!!!

The journey has just begun and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!  This is my American Dream!

My wife and I discovered Latitude while wandering in Old Town Blufton.
A great find. We enjoyed a Flight of Zin, a great Syrah and the Baked Brie was outstanding. More than all this the pleasant conversation we had with you.
Wishing you the best for Success and Happiness in pursuing your passion.
We will be visiting Latitude every time we are in the HHI area and have recommended Latitude to friends that vacation in the area.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Sam. It was great meeting you & Mary the other day, I was thrilled you decided to drop in. Please come back to see us the next time you are in the area.
